Richard Servin was born in Dallas, TX to two immigrant parents and with many immigrant relatives, Richard has always been very aware of the immigrant issues people around him face on a regular basis. He knows firsthand what the American Dream means to people who are seeking better lives in the United States.
He is very conscious and appreciative of the sacrifices made by his parents for taking a chance and coming to a foreign country and giving him the opportunities they did not have growing up in Mexico.
Richard is currently a student at the University of North Texas, Denton. He is majoring in Political Science and Integrative Studies, and his Integrative Studies fields are Spanish, Criminal Justice, and Psychology. Richard is an aspiring lawyer and plans on enrolling in law school; driven and inspired by the idea that the purpose of human life is to serve, and to show compassion and the will to help others.
